Updating os x 10 10

It’s unclear if the final OS X 10.11.5 release resolves the freezing Mac issue with OS X 10.11.4, as the beta versions of the update did not seem to fix that problem.Users who are experiencing the freezing problem with Safari or with OS X in general should install the update and report back on their findings.

The rest is handled for you behind the scenes, so when an Mac OS X update arrives, say an update to Yosemite like Mac OS X 10.10.1 or 10.10.2, that update would automatically download and install itself when it becomes available.

The easiest way to do that is through the  Apple menu and choosing “App Store” (yes you now download system updates through the App Store, this used to be named Software Update, but it was changed in Mac OS X Yosemite) For users who want to further tweak the automatic updates function, you can turn to the command line to modify how often updates are checked for from Apple servers.

And if you find those software update notifications to annoy you, you can also deal with those without having to disable the update feature itself.

I am facing problem while searching a file on external hard drive using spotlight on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

Have tried reindexing both ways (system preferences and terminal) but did not work. could you please send me a link where I can download Yosemite OS X 10.10, as I have snow leopard and it won't let me upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.5 said I need version 10.10.
