Chef Stephen Harris opened The Sportsman, in Seasalter, Kent, in 1999.
His ‘grotty rundown pub by the sea’, as he once called it, has since won a Michelin star and been crowned National Restaurant of the Year and Gastropub of the Year (among other industry awards), multiple times.
Steve explained: "The airport tug pulling our Boeing 747 Ed Force One for refuelling managed to get itself run over by the plane and both of the 747s starboard engines were wrecked.
"We had a show the next day in Cordoba, Argentina, with the small matter of the Andes between us.

But the tour was so strong and powerful in Europe, and we wanted to bring it over to North America, Central and South America.” These legs of the tour will total 41 shows in six countries.
